Senior IT Support Analyst

The IT Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Senior IT Support Analyst who possesses a strong technical skillset, is motivated by quality work and embraces a collaborative environment. In this role, you will provide infrastructure oversight, support and updating for the firm. This will include overseeing existing and new infrastructure and infrastructure troubleshooting. You will be responsible for Microsoft 365 Security and InTune, so experience with this software is required.

  • Leverage critical thinking skills to resolve simple and complex technical issues
  • Provide resolution to problems across various software and hardware platforms
  • Read/write documentation involving system configurations and recommendations
  • Follow a list of written or verbal directions to achieve a consistent end result
  • Utilize a ticketing system to track problem resolution and time
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent troubleshooting ability to determine causes and effects and solve problems
  • Ability to independently manage projects to completion
  • Understanding of all aspects of LAN/WAN environments TCP/IP, subnet masks, routing, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Support products/vendors in the Anders CPA core technology stack: Meraki, Dell, VMware, Nutanix, Cisco IOS, Azure, Mimecast and MSFT Compliance/DLP
  • Proficient understanding of proper cyber security practices
  • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects and adapt to changes quickly with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktops/Laptops/servers
  • Working knowledge of software support, testing, and configurations

Your Qualifications:

  • Azure Virtual Desktop experience is a plus

Chief Information Officer

In this role, you will lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve Firm goals while fostering innovation, prioritizing technology initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future technology solutions across the Firm. You will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the IT department by providing managerial direction to staff. You will also oversee the implementation and support of technology systems and software, desktop and application support, data analytics, researching and recommending new technology, and the information and data security of the Firm.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Participate in strategic and operational governance processes as a member of the Firms Management Committee.
  • Draft and submit the Firms IT budget for approval. Continually monitor and adjust IT spending given monthly and year-to-date variances against budgetary goals.
  • Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and system requirements for innovative systems or processes.
  • Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures which support the mission of Anders.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the work flow processes of Anders and the needs of the business.
  • Lead, plan, and direct staffing; include the development of staff and or the use of outside contractors for the efficient and effective operation of the IT Department.
  • Identify opportunities for the appropriate investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, software, purchasing, and in-house development; develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses.
  • Maintain and enhance the Firms enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
  • Approve, prioritize, and assign oversight to projects as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and implementation of various IT initiatives.
  • Define and communicate corporate plans, policies, and standards for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems. Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and agreements for ongoing reevaluation as necessary.
  • Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
  • Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Establish lines of control for current and proposed information systems.
  • Provide management direction and support to staff to ensure consistency and accuracy of work products, to provide regular and annual performance assessments, to recommend and support staff development activities, to provide disciplinary counseling when required, and to hire and train new employees.
  • Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices.
  • Participate and/or attend various associations such as LEA, Boomer Circle and or other conferences to provide opportunities for education, growth, networking and additional guidance and direction for the IT function of the Firm.

Data Engineer/API Integrator

In this role, you will support data and application integration by developing and implementing data repositories and integration architectures, strategies, guidelines, standards and leading practices. The ideal candidate will also be expected to provide support on technical and architectural direction, methodology and design to support project initiatives. You will help develop data-driven process improvements to build and connect data repositories. This role will help support the Firm Innovation and data analytic initiatives through the implementation of data analytics, business intelligence and API technologies. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

Database Warehouse responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and optimize available data warehouse infrastructure.
  • Conceive analytics and business intelligence platform architecture for clients, including internal and third-party clients.
  • Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked.
  • Design and implement ETL processes and data architecture to ensure proper functioning of analytics lad, as well as client’s or third-party’s reporting environments and dashboard.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse development and utilization.
  • Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis.
  • Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data and data models.

API responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select enterprise application integration technologies and solution development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Ability to work closely with vendors, other IT team members and architecture governance technical team for solution development and design reviews.
  • Work closely with the department stakeholders and must understand the short- and medium-term strategy for the business.
  • With the help of the team, define and own the technical implementation.
  • Work with the Team and Product Owner in shaping a product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and builds out new API integrations.
  • Contribute to technical discussions to decide upon approaches and tools for individual projects.
  • Build infrastructure to unite large-scale systems to access and process data.
  • Define APIs to empower fast and intuitive data identification, exploration and action.

Data Analytics Strategy responsibilities:

  • Implement techniques and systems to monitor data quality.
  • Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues.
  • Define a firm data strategy.
  • Develop Data reporting processes.
  • Develop Firm wide data standardization processes.
  • Develop Data Quality processes.
  • Identify Data Analytics applications that can help support Innovation and transformational products.
  • Be a data advocate and educate department on more advanced uses of data analytics with client services.
  • Help drive data related education to the firm.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expert level knowledge of using SQL to write complex, highly-optimized queries across large volumes of data.
  • Experience with PowerBI is preferred.
  • Accounting or Financial Industry experience preferred.
