Senior Recruiter

The Human Resources Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Senior Recruiter who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm’s mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential. 

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for seeing through the day-to-day recruitment efforts across the firm, supporting Advisory, Tax, Audit and Operations functions. As the senior recruiter, you are the point contact for hiring leaders and must maintain a strong understanding of a wide range of positions. The day-to-day focus should be on filling open roles across the firm, cultivating a best-in-class experience for new hires/applicants, providing oversight to the recruiting assistant(s), and developing an ongoing talent pipeline.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute firmwide recruitment strategy and day-to-day efforts for experienced and campus recruitment working closely with the Campus Recruitment Team
  • Contribute to strategic efforts by bringing forth new ideas and approaches that respond to market demands and maintain a competitive recruitment advantage
  • Responsible for recruitment of firmwide positions
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing pipeline of candidates through passive recruitment, candidate meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Identify new opportunities or events to expand recruitment efforts, such as career fairs, networking events, etc.
  • Provide recruiting insight, best practices and knowledge to team, leadership, and other stakeholders to make business decisions
  • Oversee recruiting assistant(s) with career development, goal setting, and accountability
  • Ensure the recruiting and selection process is running effectively, including timely hiring, application processing, efficiency with screening and moving candidates through the recruitment process in a timely manner
  • Participate in strategic staffing meetings to understand hiring needs leaders across the Firm
  • Build relationships across the Firm with all levels to understand tactical and strategic needs
  • Help develop new recruitment programs to meet growth goals and enhance existing programs
  • Oversee facilitation of employee onboarding from offer letter to start date and serve as lead point of contact for onboarding issues
  • Maintain excellent relationships with candidates, internal hiring teams, external sourcing contacts and other company personnel involved in the recruiting process
  • Evaluate effectiveness of online presence of Anders Careers including, but not limited to, Twitter, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Instagram, Anders blogs and online job boards
  • Serve as back-up for on-campus recruitment efforts as needed
  • Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts through ongoing recruitment efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Able to travel on an infrequent basis

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business or Related Field
  • 5+ years of relevant Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience, full-cycle recruiting experience is a requirement
  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience in screening, sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Proficient in talent management products and tools (social media, job platforms, ATS, etc.)
  • Recruitment experience in the Accounting, Finance or Professional Services is a plus

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Anders reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and firm business practices.

Salary Range
$70,000$90,000 USD

Audit and Assurance Manager – Technical Trainer

The Human Resources Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Technical Trainer who possesses a strong technical skillset, is excited to collaborate and is passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm’s mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential. 

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for building and executing a training strategy, which includes design, development and delivery of effective training and maintaining a repository of training resources. You will collaborate with department leadership to develop learning solutions, implement, and maintain training tools and materials, deliver training, ensure site compliance with Quality Standards and the profession’s technical standards, roll-out department training initiatives and effectively work with onsite and remote staff.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as primary Audit training instructor
  • Develop, deliver and maintain new hire technical training content for onboarding Audit staff
  • Conduct annual check-ins with staff within Audit to support them in their learning, identify growth/development areas, and design/deliver educational opportunities accordingly based on needs
  • Develop and maintain a repository of learning resources, such as: quick reference guides, best practices, and videos for using audit technical software
  • Keep up to date on industry guidance and standards and serve as a subject matter expert for the Audit department
  • Make recommendations for additional training opportunities based on auditing and accounting standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department leaders to identify knowledge gaps and develop a strategy to fill the gaps
  • Design and implement practice area efficiency processes and reevaluate for relevancy on an ongoing basis
  • Work in the current practice area and continue to manage clients and work on engagements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting required.
  • CPA licensure required
  • 6+ years of experience with an accounting firm as an experienced supervisor or manager, including experience supervising and reviewing work of others and interacting with clients
  • Strong presentation & facilitation skills are required, prior teaching or training experience at a national or regional firm is preferred
