Donna Erbs, Chad Gall, Dan Schindler, Mike Stafford and Brad Stumpe to be Named Partners at Anders

Anders is proud to announce that Donna M. Erbs, Chad R. Gall, CPA/CGMA, TEP, AEP, Daniel K. Schindler, CPA, Michael R. Stafford, CPA and Brad R. Stumpe, CPA, CRCM are being named partners of the firm, effective January 2022.

About Donna Erbs

Since joining Anders in 2004, Donna has worked to create the firm of the future by aligning overall vision with solid marketing initiatives. As the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, Donna is being named the first non-CPA partner at Anders. She has been instrumental in building the firm’s business development emphasis in what she describes as Mistmaking, including developing a program to provide young professionals with business savvy marketing skills. Continually raising the firm’s profile locally, regionally and nationally through Best Places to Work, Top Workplaces, Firms to Watch, Best of the Best and other recognitions for innovation and culture has been a primary focus for Donna. She is most proud of recent recognition as a Top 100 Firm, a Top Accounting Firm for Women, Outstanding Women’s Leadership Program, a Top Firm for Women in the Workplace, and for the Advancement of Women.

Recognized for her marketing and leadership efforts, Donna has been named a Women of Influence by RISE Collaborative Workspace, a Most Influential Business Woman by the St. Louis Business Journal and received several other accolades, including an On the Edge Innovation Award from LEA Global, a Professional Women’s Alliance Voices Award and Marketer of the Year by the Association for Accounting Marketing. She earned an M.S. in Marketing from Webster University in St. Louis and B.S. in Journalism from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Donna is a frequent speaker and member of the Association for Accounting Marketing, a Mastermind Group member for the Rainmaker Companies and has held several positions in LEA Global, one of the largest international associations of independent accounting firms. Passionate about empowering women in the workplace and community, Donna is involved in several community organizations and currently serves on the boards of Rung for Women, Lydia’s House, Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District and on the advisory board for the Webster University Walker School of Business.

About Chad Gall

Chad joined the firm in 2001 and has since established himself as an integral part of the Family Wealth and Estate Planning Group. Named a Top Estate Planning Professional by St. Louis Small Business Monthly, he lends his expertise to business owners and families on Roth IRA conversions, retirement planning, estate and trust planning and multi-state tax planning. He also works on 5500s for employee benefit plans. In addition, his accounting software knowledge helps guide accounting and audit services throughout the firm.

Chad is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Missouri, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). He earned a B.S. in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois. Chad is the current President and board member of the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis and an organizing committee member in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is also a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the Rainmaker Academy, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In the community, Chad is a member of the Trenton Park Boosters and Trenton Knights of Columbus in Trenton, Illinois.

About Dan Schindler

Dan is the youngest person to be named partner at the firm. Since joining the firm as a tax intern in 2010, Dan has successfully combined his love for all things food, spirits, sports and helping people succeed into his career at Anders. While he leads operations of the Anders Sports, Arts & Entertainment Group and represents professional athletes, agents and advisors; he also provides savvy advice on operational efficiencies and cash flow analysis to a growing number of restaurants, food and beverage companies and craft brewery owners. Dan is a member of the firm’s CARES Act Research and Response Team and advises clients around the latest legislation on COVID-19 relief, including the Paycheck Protection Program and Employee Retention Credit. Spending time to understand each client and their specific needs, and then navigating them through difficult tax and business situations, is what he enjoys most. Athletes, business owners and professional service firms and advisors have come to count on Dan to help them succeed.

Dan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Missouri and holds an M.S. and B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He is an active member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Dan received the Master Rainmaker award as a graduate of the Rainmaker Academy and served on the Anders Young Professionals Staff Advisory Group to help build the firm of the future. Internationally, he serves as the Chair of LEA Global’s Young Professional Steering Committee. Dan’s dedication and hard work in the office are mirrored in his community efforts. He is the Founder and President of the Schindler Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3), that works tirelessly for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDRF). He also serves as an Ambassador for JDRF and has become active in fundraising for ALS efforts. A proud Mizzou alum, Dan is a member of the Mizzou Alumni Association, an avid supporter of the Tiger Scholarship Fund, and a past board member of the Mizzou Tiger Club-St. Louis. He is on the Board of the Young Friends of the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, a member of the St. Louis Chapter Baseball Writers Association and served as an Associate Board Member for the St. Louis Sports Commission.

About Mike Stafford

Mike joined the firm in 2016 as the Director of Finance and Administration before becoming the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer. He brings over 20 years of experience as a CFO to his role as COO, providing strategic direction to benefit profitability, growth, operations and business strategy. His responsibilities include oversight to the internal functions of Anders: finance, human resources, office/facilities, internal technology and administration. Mike’s prior experience working for an internal audit and consulting firm and knowledge of the health care and legal industries, mixed with his analytical, strategic mentality, gives him the ability to understand all aspects of the business and make sound financial and operational decisions.

Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Missouri and earned a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He is an active member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

About Brad Stumpe

Brad joined Anders as a principal and the Director of Regulatory Compliance in the firm’s Audit and Assurance practice in 2020. Formerly part of Cummings, Ristau & Associates before they merged with Anders, Brad has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years, working with banks and credit unions in the area of regulatory compliance. Brad has experience working at the FDIC as a review examiner for over 180 banks representing the FDIC in public forums, conducting training for bankers and examiners and reviewing de novo and branch applications from a compliance perspective. At Anders, Brad works with financial institutions including banks and credit unions to help them navigate and comply with evolving regulatory compliance issues.

Brad is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Missouri and a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). A member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Brad earned a B.S. in Accounting from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. In the community, Brad is an Assistant Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, a baseball coach and volunteers with Autism Speaks.
