James D. Huber, retired tax partner at Anders CPAs + Advisors, passed away on July 13, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his adoring wife, children and 13 beloved grandchildren.
Jim started his public accounting career in 1974 working at the firm his father, William Huber, founded in 1965, Huber, Ring, Wolling & Co. He went on to lead the firm and in 1989 merged with Helm & Co. P.C. forming Huber Ring Helm (HRH). In 2013, HRH merged with Anders Minkler & Diehl LLP to become Anders Minkler Huber & Helm LLP (Anders CPAs + Advisors). Jim led a fulfilling career serving his clients for 43 years before he retired in 2017.
He led a life dedicated to his family, his work, his church and service to his community. A dedicated board member and long-time supporter of the Gene Slay’s Girls & Boys Club of St. Louis, Jim was the first recipient of their Pillar of Our Community Award in 2017.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the organizations for which he was a board member and devoted supporter: Gene Slay Girls & Boys Club of St. Louis, Peter & Paul Community Services, Immacolata – St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Martha’s Hall.
