Anders 2024 Community Impact Report SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

Generosity - one of our core values - drives how we treat our clients, employees and communities. To strengthen ties to our communities and empower employees to get involved, we individually and collectively invest time and resources. For our eighth annual community impact report, we’re proud to showcase the generosity of our people and our dedication to giving back to the communities we love.

WHAT DOES GENEROSITY MEAN TO ANDERS?

Anders gives back because we care. Generosity means supporting the organizations that strengthen our communities through distributing resources, contributing money, and investing time.

In 2024, Anders employees were active members of over 277 organizations while also collectively supporting 444 organizations financially and through volunteer opportunities.

Our deep and abiding connection to our communities drives us to support numerous local charitable, civic, cultural arts, and professional organizations that support us in return.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITIES

Our passion for giving back is clear: Employees participated in 168 charitable sponsorships in 2024 alone. That passion is amplified by Anders, which proudly donated over $500,000 to support the causes closest to us, thanks in no small part to so many team members taking leadership, supporting and volunteering roles in these organizations. That includes our ongoing relationship with United Way, which raised over $15,000 in 2024.

Anders strives to enact the change we want to see in our communities through an open hand and an open heart. That’s why we continue supporting the community through our Charity of Choice program.

Total Donated Through our Charity of Choice Initiative

Each year, we select a charity to support for our Charity of Choice program. Staff-led fundraising activities and volunteer opportunities helps support a charity each year. The charity is selected every December by an open vote. The program has raised $401,201 for causes since it began 19 years ago.

“We are profoundly grateful to Anders for adopting Memory Care Home Solutions as their Charity of Choice for 2024. They welcomed us into their office as if we were part of the Anders family, and their support has been nothing short of transformative! The Anders team helped us accomplish projects that we did not have the time or resources to accomplish on our own, including beautifying our landscaping. Through initiatives like Christmas in July and the many creative fundraisers during their busiest times, they have strengthened our ability to provide evidence-based dementia services and keep families together at home during their dementia journeys. We’re grateful to Anders for their compassion, dedication, and partnership—it has made a lasting impact on our mission and our community.”

Raised in 2024

In 2024, we raised $27,691 for our Charity of Choice, Memory Care Home Solutions (MCHS). Memory Care Home Solutions provides support to people living with dementia and their care partners to help improve and extend quality time at home for all who require services. Through tools, education and resources, the organization helps to reduce caregiver stress and ensures their home environment is safe for their loved one living with memory loss.

In addition to Memory Care Home Solutions, other beneficiaries of the Anders Charity of Choice program have included Missouri Veterans Endeavor, Lydia’s House, the Child Center, Partners for Pets, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, Angels Arms, Shriners Hospitals for Children–St. Louis, Stray Rescue of St. Louis and many more.

For our Charity of Choice 2025, we are excited to support Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Gateway Chapter. As with our support for Memory Care Home Solutions, Anders will hold a number of events and fundraisers to raise contributions for the cause.

MAKING AND IMPACT THROUGH FUNDRAISING, EDUCATION AND VOLUNTEERING

More than 355 staff members, clients and friends of the firm joined together for the 36th annual Hoops for Hope, our yearly March Madness bracket tournament, to support MCHS. Thanks to the generous support of those participants, Anders was able to present Memory Care Home Solutions with a check for over $15,000.

Throughout the year, Anders team members participated in Volunteer Work Days to assist with enhancing the Memory Care Home Solutions training center. This facility serves families and caregivers by demonstrating home adjustments that create a more suitable living environment for people with dementia and their caretakers.

The Anders Working Parents and Caregivers Employee Resource Group partnered with MCHS to host an educational session designed to empower caregivers with practical tips and techniques for supporting individuals with dementia and cognitive or developmental delays, focusing on communication, self-care, safety and independence through effective strategies and environmental modifications.

The Young Professionals Group organized Christmas in July, a special event designed to fulfill specific needs at Memory Care Home Solutions.

Because of our efforts in the community, we were named a finalist for the St. Louis Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy & Innovation in Philanthropy Awards in the Midsize Company category for 2024. The award celebrates and recognizes local partnerships for going above and beyond standard philanthropic practices in new and creative ways.
