Abe Babler, MBA

Abe is an audit principal with more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management and compliance. At Anders, he works closely with businesses to perform IT and SOC audits, identifying security vulnerabilities and ways to stay protected from costly cyberattacks. With unique expertise in business technology spanning across many industries, Abe has designed risk services for every firm he has been a part of, including SOC audits, HIPAA assessments, and cybersecurity assessments. He enjoys translating organizational business models into pragmatic technology solutions which enables clients to make informed decisions.

Abe specializes in several industries, including financial services, universities, government, benefit services and manufacturing. After working in those industries, Abe has joined the accounting industry and continues to provide cutting-edge solutions for his clients. His accolades include conducting an IT forensic audit that discovered over one hundred thousand identities at risk, which drew the attention of Congress at the Federal level. He designed an SDLC for a Fortune 500 company that included a change management practice still in use today. Abe also created a Business Intelligence platform that saved a Fortune 25 company over $3 billion in fines and $2 million in overhead. Additionally, he has designed cloud security practices for multiple clients and trained third-party organizations on sound cloud migration practices. Abe’s extensive work in designing AICPA practices for SOC audits, HIPAA assessments, and cybersecurity assessments complements his expertise in cyberforensic assessments, performance audits, and software selection and replacement consulting engagements. Abe also performs peer reviews of other accounting firms to validate their audit practices, per AICPA requirements.
