Anders tax manager Rebekah J. Tucker, CPA has been named the 2021 Outstanding Young Professional by the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA). The annual MOCPA Impact Award for Outstanding Young Professional honors one CPA under the age of 35 who is viewed as an emerging leader within the profession and is active in the community as well as professional organizations.
About Rebekah
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Rebekah has been an integral member of the Anders Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Team. She helped the team digest legislative updates and identify programs and incentives that would help put money back in our clients’ pockets, including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). Rebekah is a frequent speaker on Anders webinars and videos, and is often asked to speak on podcasts and local news station Channel 5 KSDK. The insight Rebekah provided helped not only our clients, but families and businesses throughout the community that may not have access to a trusted advisor.
Beyond the impact she has had on the firm and community over the past year, Rebekah has been helping individuals and privately-held businesses grow and thrive with strategic tax planning and advisory for the past six years. Rebekah started her tax career as an intern at Anders in 2015 and quickly progressed through the ranks to tax manager. Passionate about connecting younger staff members and providing opportunities for them to grow within the firm, Rebekah serves as Vice-Chair on the Anders Young Professionals Steering Committee where she is instrumental in planning events and activities to bring the firm’s young professionals together and keep them engaged.
Rebekah was recognized at the MOCPA Awards Celebration on November 11 and in the November 2021 issue of the MOCPA Asset Magazine.
