The University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business faculty have selected Daniel K. Schindler, CPA, Tax Partner at Anders CPAs + Advisors, as a recipient of the Recent Alumni Achievement Award for 2024. The award recognizes the professional accomplishments and outstanding volunteer support from alumni who received their degrees in the last 15 years.
Selection criteria for the award include active involvement with the college through advisory boards or other collaborative activities; professional accomplishments early in their career and a demonstration of leadership for or inspiration to students and other alumni through participation in university or college events and/or social and community service. Dan will be presented the award alongside three other honorees at the Honors Luncheon at the State Historical Society of Missouri on April 12, 2024.

Dan’s unwavering dedication to his clients has followed him from his first year at the firm as a tax intern through his journey to partner. As the founder of the firm’s Lodging, Food and Beverage niche, Dan built strong relationships over many years working with clients in the food and beverage industry and has become a go-to advisor to work with for St. Louis restaurants. Dan provides savvy advice on operational efficiencies and cash flow analysis to a growing number of restaurants, food and beverage companies and craft brewery owners. He also leads operations for the firm’s Sports, Arts & Entertainment Group, representing professional athletes, agents and advisors. Dan takes time to listen to his clients’ pain points and is eager to offer solutions to help them navigate through difficult tax and business situations. Restauranteurs, athletes and business owners have come to count on Dan to help them succeed.
A University of Missouri alum, Dan is a member of the Mizzou Alumni Association and a past board member of the St. Louis chapter of the Mizzou Tiger Club. His hard work and dedication led to his recognition as the MOCPA Outstanding Young Professional in 2022 and being named a Best Accountant and Top Accountant by St. Louis Small Business Monthly.
