Robert is the principal and state and local tax practice leader at Anders, with over 20 years of multi-state sales and use tax experience. Along with his public accounting experience, Robert has worked in large, multi-state corporations and in the governmental sector. He performs reverse audits, voluntary disclosure agreements and tax due diligence for mergers and acquisitions to ensure a smooth transition. As a licensed attorney, Robert understands the multi-state tax litigation process and uses this experience to advise clients. He is a member of the firm’s CARES Act Research and Response Team and advises clients around the latest legislation on COVID-19 relief, including the Paycheck Protection Program. Robert keeps up on the latest state tax and local tax regulations and conducts nexus reviews to help businesses avoid unnecessary tax.
