Ryan Huff, Joshua Snyder and Clay Kniepmann Named Principals at Anders

Anders is proud to announce the promotions of Ryan M. Huff, CPA and Joshua L. Snyder, CPA in Tax and Clay M. Kniepmann, JD, CPA/CFF/ABV, CFE in Forensic, Valuation and Litigation to principals at the firm. Ryan, Josh and Clay have earned their principal titles by going above and beyond to exhibit technical and leadership acumen throughout their careers.

About Ryan Huff

Ryan began his accounting career at Anders in 2008 and has worked his way up to principal as a technical resource for the tax department. Ryan provides valuable tax planning and compliance strategies for individuals, families and small businesses, including partnerships, S-corps and LLCs. He has experience serving clients in the Manufacturing and Distribution, Real Estate and Construction industries and also has a background in accounting services, including payroll and bookkeeping. To help his clients with complex tax situations, Ryan stays on top of the latest tax legislation and researches unique strategies.

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Southwest Baptist University. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA).

About Joshua Snyder

Josh began his career at Anders in 2014 following an internship in the tax department. Throughout his years at Anders, Josh has worked with a multitude of clients including startup companies, manufacturers, athletes and high-net-worth individuals on strategic tax planning and compliance. Josh currently serves as a leader of the Startup and Entrepreneurs industry group and enjoys working on tax planning opportunities for entrepreneurs and their businesses. Additionally, as a member of the firm’s Sports, Arts and Entertainment industry group, Josh helps professional athletes navigate complex tax challenges and consults with them to help preserve their earnings after their professional career concludes.

A Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri, Josh holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he also serves as a board member for the School of Accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA),and serves as a board member on the SBDC Advisory Board, SIUE chapter.

About Clay Kniepmann

Clay joined Anders in 2019 on the Forensic, Valuation and Litigation team and boasts extensive experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation and litigation services. Because fraud, disputes and litigation can occur in any organization, Clay has had the opportunity to work with clients across a wide range of industries, both domestically and internationally. He enjoys “putting the puzzle together,” understanding the backstory and helping his clients solve unique challenges. He strives to explain complex financial issues in an easy-to-understand manner. Clay’s passion for his work translates into his teaching style as an adjunct professor at Lindenwood University, teaching an MBA-level course on fraud examination and forensic accounting.

Clay is a Certified Public Accountant in Missouri and Illinois. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and a J.D. from Northern Illinois University School of Law. Clay is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). Clay holds memberships for both the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also an AICPA Forensic and Litigation Services Fraud task force member and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Clay sits on the board of directors for the ACFE Greater St. Louis Area Chapter and is a CFF Champion in the state of Missouri.
