The annual MOCPA Impact Award for Outstanding Young Professional honors one CPA under the age of 35 who serves as an emerging and dynamic leader in the profession. This recognition highlights Chrysa’s dedication to the profession through mentorship, promoting financial literacy, encouraging others to pursue the CPA credential and her volunteer and advocacy efforts.

As a Tax Manager at Anders, Chrysa provides tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, flow-through entities and private business owners. During her time at Anders, Chrysa has gained invaluable experience by working closely with Family Wealth and Estate Planning clients on various investment partnerships, trusts and individual tax returns. She also works with medical practices on monthly financial reporting, physician compensation models, operations management and strategic planning. Chrysa enjoys working closely with tax department leaders to review processes and procedures internally to ensure we are a progressive department.
In 2018, Chrysa quickly established herself as a thought leader on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), publishing several blogs to educate businesses and individuals on its impacts. Her eagerness to expand her knowledge and drive innovation led her to collaborate with various departments and industry groups within the firm, becoming a go-to tax resource for the Health Care group and a key player in implementing the firm’s electronic tax return delivery and signing platform.
Chrysa’s leadership extends beyond the firm. She has been an active member of the Leading Edge Alliance (LEA) Global, where she sits on the Young Professionals Steering Committee. Her influence also reaches the wider public accounting community through her presentations at conferences and seminars, where she shares her insights on inspiring young professionals and the future of public accounting.
