In this role, you will be primarily responsible for delivering exceptional client service with a demonstrated technical knowledge of accounting standards. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, partnerships, trusts and corporations in a variety of industries and states
  • Demonstrates the ability to review complex returns of individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts
  • Manage projects through the office with excellent engagement management metrics
  • Demonstrate the ability to efficiently research tax topics of advance complexity
  • Help develop, build and manage client relationships
  • Take on client billing responsibility, as appropriate
  • Focus on managing, developing and coaching professional tax staff
  • Assist in managing administrative activities for the department and firm
  • Perform other duties as assigned

$105,000$135,000 USD

As a Power Platform Senior Developer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, and optimizing Power Platform solutions to address real business challenges. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to delivering client success. You’ll mentor junior team members, lead development initiatives, and ensure the solutions you deliver are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices. What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure solution reliability by proactively identifying potential defects and performing in-depth testing to guarantee performance and maintainability.

  • Advanced Dataverse Experience: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including complex data modeling, managing security roles, APIs, XRMToolBox, and working with relational data in Dataverse.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform Pro Dev Tools: Familiarity with advanced development tools like Power Platform CLI, Solution Packager, and Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  • Coding Skills in Azure and Power Platform Integrations: Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Python, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Power Fx for extending Power Apps, as well as C# for creating custom connectors and plugins within Dataverse.
  • Experience with Power Query data modeling, DAX, and Power BI and Reporting Integration: Ability to integrate Power BI for enhanced data visualizations, creating embedded reports and dashboards within Power Platform applications.
  • Security and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of security best practices in Power Platform, including Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, column level security, and compliance standards.
  • Performance Optimization Skills: Proven ability to optimize Power Platform applications for performance, manage large data volumes, optimize Power Automate flows, and handle API usage limits effectively.

Your Qualifications: 

  • Required 3-5 years of experience developing apps, flows, and custom solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, preferably in a consulting or client-focused environment.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications:

  • Prepare monthly sales tax and monthly payroll tax returns
  • Compile financial statements, prepare accruals, general ledger entries and reconcile accounts

The Talent Development Specialist will support the Talent Development Manager and other technical trainers by assisting in the creation, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training programs that promote employee growth and career development. This individual will also help administer the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and track Continuing Professional Education credits and other compliance requirements set forth by the Missouri State Board of Accountancy, NASBA and other applicable accrediting bodies. The Talent Development Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering employee growth and development, directly contributing to the Firm’s success.

 

What You’ll Do: 

Learning Management System (LMS) 

  • Manage registration and reporting for all learning and development activities using the firm’s Learning Management System
  • Creation of learning objectives in the firm’s Learning Management System such as programs, sessions, learning paths, activities, and catalogs  
  • Monitor and track employee training completion and issue certificates
  • Generate reports for Talent leaders, Practice/Department leaders, and other leaders on employee training and CPE compliance metrics
  • Maintain relationships with LMS Provider for questions and support
  • Stays updated with the latest LMS features and trends to ensure the system is used to its full potential
  • Other LMS duties as assigned

 

Internal Learning Programs 

  • Coordinate registration of employees for internal and external learning events
  • Arrange and coordinate training sessions and schedules; including working with various external trainers  
  • Coordinate all training materials (training guides, handouts, and other visual materials) and agendas for each session and send to presenters and attendees
  • Monitor all class/session enrollments; make changes as necessary  
  • Work with proper parties on facility and equipment scheduling; including setting up classrooms, technology equipment, and additional materials  
  • Manage course changes through effective and timely communication with attendees and presenters
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees post training sessions to evaluate feedback and effectiveness  
  • Conducts effective needs assessments with leaders and other subject matter experts to determine training needs of employees and firm, as a whole
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive and engaging training programs tailored to individual contributors, focusing on enhancing technical skills, professional development, and alignment with the firm’s Core Competencies and Core Values
  • Monitor and support remote training participants during hybrid learning events

 

Continuing Professional Education 

  • Monitor and track continuing education and licensure status for various licenses and certifications to ensure compliance requirements are being met  
  • Collect and record materials needed to offer CPE credits
  • Work with employees and leadership to schedule individuals to attend external CPE and professional development events, as needed
  • Assist employees with CPE and licensure-related questions

 

Additional Responsibilities 

  • Maintain supplies and training materials
  • Assist with daily operation of the talent development team, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Communicate and model firm core values, mission and vision
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or Related Field 
  • Minimum 1-2 years related work experience preferably working with company-wide training and development initiatives 
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems 
  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including PowerPoint

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Anders reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and firm business practices.

The Payroll Compliance Senior will support the organization’s Payroll Compliance Audit function with a strong focus on compliance with union agreements with respect to the contractual contributions made by employers. The successful individual will be organized, professional, analytical and detail-oriented.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Become familiar with collective bargaining agreements and, if applicable, other related agreements
  • Provide knowledge of payroll and tax documents
  • Communicate with employers via phone and correspondence to notify, schedule and confirm payroll examinations
  • Conduct fieldwork to include compilation of required documents; comparison of employee provided payroll to reports provided by the benefit funds; analyzation of variances
  • Follow up with employers to resolve and/or obtain representations regarding any potential discrepancies
  • Prepare preliminary and final reports noting the findings of the payroll examination.
  • Familiarize yourself with the collective bargaining agreements and, if applicable, other related agreements.
  • Have a good understanding of payroll and tax documents
  • Communicate with the employer to schedule the payroll examination
  • Analyze payroll records and compare to reports provided by the benefit office
  • Communicate with employers to resolve and/or obtain representations regarding any potential discrepancies.
  • Compile reports noting the findings of the payroll examination.
  • Create reports showing calculated contributions for the audit discrepancies

Tax Associate – Fall 2026

The Tax Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking an Associate who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm’s mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential.  

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the preparation of corporate, partnership, trust and individual income tax returns, as well as general ledger maintenance and account analysis. To succeed in this role, you should have a foundational understanding of accounting principles with a desire to build your technical skills and knowledge.  

 This position can start in October 2026 or January 2027.  Other start dates can be discussed as necessary. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Complete tax returns, perform tax research, analyze tax notices and draft responses, and assist in tax planning and the preparation of projections  
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes and assist clients with routine accounting functions while assessing their current systems/processes to determine appropriateness and effectiveness 
  • Prepare monthly sales tax and monthly payroll tax returns
  • Compile financial statements, prepare accruals, general ledger entries and reconcile accounts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
