Power Platform Developer
The Technology Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Power Platform Developer who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. The Business Solutions team at Anders Technology Advisory creates innovative, low-code solutions that drive value for our clients. As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing Power Platform solutions to address real business challenges. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a commitment to delivering client success. You’ll collaborate with team members, contribute to development initiatives, and ensure the solutions you deliver are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices. Technical skills are important, but we also value your soft skills, attention to detail, and your motivation to adopt new skills to solve problems for our clients. Every project is different and may require you to develop a degree of expertise in all areas of the Power Platform.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand documented features, detailed user stories, and assist with estimating development tasks.
- Deliver high-quality work from the project backlog, ensuring timely completion and participating in backlog refinement sessions to align on priorities.
- Build and test Power Platform solutions, proactively identifying potential issues and ensuring reliability and maintainability.
- Stay updated with Power Platform advancements to bring the latest capabilities and best practices to client projects.
- Support go-live implementations, including data migration and user acceptance testing, to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and project needs, with the flexibility to develop skills across all areas of the Power Platform.

- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Power Query, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, contributing effectively to the team.
- Basic Dataverse Experience: Understanding of Dataverse fundamentals, data modeling, and security management.
- Power Platform Pro Dev Tools: Familiarity with development tools such as XRMToolBox, Power Platform CLI, and Azure DevOps for version control and ALM practices.
- Basic Coding Skills: Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and Power Fx to create custom functionality within Power Apps.
- Power BI Integration: Basic understanding of Power BI dashboards and Data Modeling for embedding simple reports and visualizations.
- Security and Compliance Awareness: Basic knowledge of role-based access control and compliance standards in Power Platform.
Your Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience developing apps, flows, and custom solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, preferably in a consulting or client-focused environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications:
- PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (Ideal)
- PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (Optional but beneficial)
- AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (Optional but beneficial)
- AZ-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (Optional but beneficial)
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Anders reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and firm business practices.
