Payroll Compliance Associate
The Audit and Assurance Department of one of the fastest-growing accounting firms in the country is seeking a Payroll Compliance Associate who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This individual will have a direct impact on our firm’s mission of serving as a catalyst for those striving to achieve their highest potential.
The Payroll Compliance Associate will support the organization’s Payroll Compliance Audit function with a strong focus on compliance with union agreements with respect to the contractual contributions made by employers. The successful individual will be organized, professional, analytical and detail-oriented.
What You’ll Do:
- Become familiar with collective bargaining agreements and, if applicable, other related agreements
- Provide knowledge of payroll and tax documents
- Communicate with employers via phone and correspondence to notify, schedule and confirm payroll examinations
- Conduct fieldwork to include compilation of required documents; comparison of employee provided payroll to reports provided by the benefit funds; analyzation of variances
- Follow up with employers to resolve and/or obtain representations regarding any potential discrepancies
- Prepare preliminary and final reports noting the findings of the payroll examination.

Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Advanced Excel is strongly preferred
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Anders reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and firm business practices.
