Ensure Your Company is Protected During Cyber Security Awareness Month in October

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) – a time to check in on your online safety and security. NCSAM was created 15 years ago by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance as a collaborative effort between government and industry to provide resources for Americans to stay safer and more secure online.

The overarching theme for NCSAM 2018 is, cyber security is our shared responsibility and we all must work together to improve our Nation’s cyber security. The key messages are:

  • Strengthen the Nation’s cyber security ecosystem
  • Cyber security is a cross-cutting, cross-sector challenge, so we must tackle it together
  • Increase and strengthen the cyber security workforce across all sectors
  • Secure critical infrastructure from cyber threats
