Anders to Name Rippelmeyer and Summers Partners
Both Rippelmeyer and Summers have served as Principals in their respective specialties of tax and forensics. Rippelmeyer joined Anders 26 years ago in an accounting services role and has become an instrumental member of the Tax Services Group leadership. Summers joined Anders 18 years ago this month as a tax accountant and moved into a management role in the Forensic and Valuation Services Group.
Rippelmeyer is one of the leaders of the firm’s Sports, Arts and Entertainment Group and concentrates much of her tax practice in working with individuals in those industries. She also works with small- to medium-size businesses and individuals on tax planning and preparation, and specializes in the selection, implementation and support of automated accounting systems. She also is a director of the Ander’s Women’s Initiative.
As both an accountant and attorney, Summers serves as an expert witness on valuation and divorce matters, providing testimony at both deposition and trial. He values numerous types of businesses including manufacturing, construction and automotive, as well as medical and legal practices. He also has experience in economic damages, intellectual property and family business.
Rippelmeyer holds a master’s degree in accountancy from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Webster University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).
Summers hold a juris doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Maryville University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). Summers is also Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA).
Rippelmeyer is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Missouri St. Louis Women’s Leadership Council, Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation, Rung, and the Cardinal Glennon Columbia Golf Tournament. She was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s Most Influential Business Women in 2012.
Summers is the President of the Missouri chapter of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants (AAA-CPA). He is also a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA) and the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.
